Opening up about the initial years of her career, Shilpa revealed that the first two decades were dedicated to relentless hard work aimed at achieving personal milestones. Coming from a middle-class background, her motivation was to buy a new house and car. Reflecting on those formative years, she emphasised the different perspectives one has as a 17-year-old starting in the industry.

Recalling the financial goals that fueled her determination, Shilpa shared, “I was working because I wanted to buy my first car, I wanted to move into a bigger house.” These tangible objectives kept her focused and driven during the early phase of her career.

Speaking about the current phase of her acting journey, the actress expressed that it is the most rewarding. She acknowledged experiencing the highs and lows, with each phase imparting valuable lessons. According to her, this is the best phase of her life as an actor, offering the liberty to explore diverse roles. Shilpa also talked about her courage in choosing roles, highlighting her current mindset where she works because she wants to, not out of necessity.
