Released in 2016, Raw narrates the story of a girl who is forced to eat raw meat when she is in veterinary school. Later, her life takes a drastic turn as she starts liking meat. Debuting at the 2016 Cannes Film Festival on May 14, the film hit U.S. theatres on March 10, 2017.

Smile

The horror film Smile, released in 2022, is considered one of the scariest. Written and directed by Parker Finn, it is based on his 2020 short film Laura Hasn’t Slept. Sosie Bacon plays Rose Cotter, a doctor disturbed by unusual events after witnessing a patient’s suicide. The cast includes Jesse T.
