It has been reported that the brand is expected to drop the price details in the upcoming India Bike Week, kickstarting from December 8 in Goa.

The Italy-based two-wheeler maker Piaggio group is slowly spreading roots in the Indian market. To provide a wide range of products, the company is gearing up to launch another tech-loaded motocyle named Aprilia RS 457. It is the same bike that made its official appearance in Indian MotoGP in September 2023.

It has been reported that the brand is expected to drop the price details about vehicle during India Bike Week, which will kickstart on December 8 in Goa.

Ahead of the official price announcement, some leaks and reports have suggested that the brand might introduce RS 457 under Rs 4 lakh. However, all the speculations and confusion regarding the price range will be cleared on the above-mentioned date.

According to the reports, the Aprilia RS 457 will be developed locally, and all the manufacturing-related work will take place at the company’s Baramati in India.

The motorcycle will come with an aluminum chassis, making it lighter and faster in the segment. It will treat riders with some trending features such as traction control, multiple riding modes, powerful disc brakes at both ends, and a proper LED headlight setup with LED taillights.

The vehicle also will be paired with a good-quality cluster display, allowing the riders to monitor all the bike-related information under one umbrella.

Talking about the power, it will feature a fresh twin-cylinder motor, which will generate a max power of 47 bhp, enough to make it disappear in just a few seconds. As far as the weight is concerned, it will be 175kg, heavier than most of its rivals.

Once launched, it will compete against the KTM RC 390 and the Yamaha R3, which is slated to be released in India this month.
