The inauguration ceremony of the Ram temple in Ayodhya took place on Monday, with Prime Minister Narendra Modi performing the rituals. A day after the consecration, the shrine will be accessible to the public.

The Pran Pratishtha ceremony started at 12:29 PM. Following the ceremony, PM Modi addressed a gathering of over 7,000 individuals which included spiritual leaders and notable personalities at the venue. The event was attended by many VVIPs from various parts of the country, including actors, sportspersons, industrialists, politicians and more.

The Ram Mandir, built in the traditional Nagara architecture style, spans 380 feet east-west, with a width of 250 feet and a towering height of 161 feet. The vertical structure includes floors, each at a height of 20 feet, supported by 392 pillars and adorned with 44 gates.

Ashok Vihar

A renowned Ram temple graces the neighbourhood of Ashok Vihar. The belief holds that this temple was constructed following the architectural lines of Ayodhya.

Vivek Vihar

A notable temple dedicated to Lord Ram was established in 1979 during the Ram Navami festival in the Ashok Vihar area. Notable features of the temple include a pagoda on the right side of the main entrance and a Mata Mandir on the left side. Shri Ram Mandir offers additional amenities like a library and free medical services. Nearby, one can find a Jain temple and Shri Hanuman Balaji temple.

Pitampura

In Pitampura, Raj Nagar, there is a temple dedicated to Lord Ram where devotees can visit to seek blessings and have darshan.
