Protem Speaker Jitan Ram Manjhi said on Wednesday Lalu Prasad had attended the House despite not being a member when Rabri Devi was the Chief Minister of Bihar.

Sushil Kumar Modi proposed the name of Tarikishore Prasad as the party's legislature party leader which was seconded by all the newly elected MLAs.

Buoyed by the exit polls projections, the party has sent its senior leaders to Patna for proper coordination with the allies and possibly also to keep its flock together after the results are declared.

The ruling Janata Dal (United) categorically dismissed suggestions that Kumar, who also heads the party, had retirement from politics on his mind while stating that the ongoing assembly elections were his 'last'.

Tejashwi Yadav said that Nitish Kumar was laughing at the RJD leader's 10 lakh job promise but the BJP promised 19 lakh jobs which was a confusing type of situation as the two alliance partners were giving contradictory statements.
