A traction control system is a vehicle safety feature that helps prevent wheels from losing grip on the road. It employs sensors to detect when a wheel loses traction and automatically adjusts the power output or braking force so that the wheel regains stability.

Bajaj NS400 Z

Bajaj Pulsar N400 Z is available in India with a starting price of Rs 1.85 lakh (ex-showroom). The motorcycle packs a 373 cc single-cylinder engine tuned to deliver 39.4 bhp at 8,500 rpm and 35 Nm of maximum torque at 7,000 rpm. It has a 6-speed gearbox and features such as an LCD lap timer, Bluetooth connectivity, and turn-by-turn navigation.

Bajaj Pulsar N250

The Bajaj Pulsar N250 is one of the most affordable 250cc bikes in India with prices starting at Rs 1.52 lakh (ex-showroom). The bike’s oil-cooled engine can deliver 24 bhp at 8,500 rpm and 21.5 Nm torque at 6,500 rpm. It is paired with a 5-speed gearbox with a slipper and assist clutch. The N250 comes equipped with a projector LED headlamp with DRLs, ABS riding modes, dual channel ABS, a digital instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity, and turn-by-turn navigation.

Yamaha FZ-X

Triumph Speed 400

The updated Triumph Speed 400 gets a dominating road presence with its larger-profile tyres. The bike retails in India with a starting price of Rs 2.4 lakh (ex-showroom).

It houses a 400 cc liquid-cooled engine with 37.5 Nm of maximum torque at 6,500 rpm and 39 bhp at 8,000 rpm. This is coupled with a wet slipper clutch system-equipped 6-speed gearbox.

TVS Apache RTR 310

The Apache RTR 310 offers features, like cruise control, throttle-by-wire, five ride modes, adjustable levers and a bi-LED headlamp arrangement. The naked sports bike comes in two colours and three configurations, with a starting price of Rs 2.42 lakh (ex-showroom).

The 310 cc engine of the Apache RTR is coupled to a 6-speed gearbox including a slipper and assist clutch, as well as a bi-directional quick-shifter. The liquid-cooled unit can generate up to 35 bhp at 9,700 rpm and 28.7 Nm of maximum torque at 6,650 rpm.
