Amid the ongoing bad weather conditions at Delhi airport, several flights have been affected as a thick layer of fog surrounded the city, causing low visibility. To provide a seamless travel experience during the situation, the leading carrier Air India allows flyers to and from Delhi IGI Airport to reschedule or cancel their bookings without paying additional costs.
The benefit can be taken when the flight is likely to be affected by major fog delays. The decision was taken under the FogCare initiative, which was introduced last winter, granting power to affected passengers to control their booking or tickets at no extra cost.

As the temperature started dipping in the country, dense fog started disrupting air travel in multiple cities and states. The list includes the national capital, Kolkata, Hyderabad, and Bengaluru.
