The study dives deep into the numbers, revealing that not only does the Diesel Model outshine with a 14 percent lower maintenance cost, but the Petrol Model takes the lead with a whopping 16 percent lower cost compared to the segment average.
Breaking it down, the Diesel Model of the Sonet secures the crown for being the best in the segment, offering a complete value-for-money package with a total cost of ownership 10 percent lower than the segment average.
Meanwhile, the Petrol variant grabs the second spot, cruising with a 4 percent lower total cost of ownership than the segment average, hot on the heels of the segment’s top performer.
Adding to the Sonet’s accolades, Frost & Sullivan’s study points out that both models boast a Residual Value 3 percent higher than the segment average, solidifying their place among the best in the game.
The comprehensive analysis took on 5 Petrol and 3 Diesel competitors, considering every ownership cost aspect, from Initial Acquisition Cost to Residual Value, Maintenance Cost, Finance and Insurance Costs, to Fuel Expenses.
Frost & Sullivan also spills the beans on the Scheduled Maintenance costs, revealing that the Diesel Sonet trumps its closest rival by 17 percent and beats the segment average by a whopping 23 percent. The Petrol Sonet doesn’t fall behind, scoring 7 percent lower than its nearest rival and an impressive 28 percent lower than other competition models.
