After creating buzz all over the internet with spy shots and short teasers, the leading car maker JSW MG has finally launched the all-new Windsor EV in India
The model has been released at the starting price of Rs 9.99 lakh (ex-showroom). It is the third offering from the electric lineup after Comet and ZS EV.
Windsor EV Rental Program
The model has been under the Battery as a Service (BaaS) rental program. It eliminates the upfront cost of the battery, allowing the customers to pay only for its usage, costing Rs 3.5 per km. In case you are interested the Windsor can be booked via authorised showrooms nationwide. The same also can be done online by paying a token amount.
All About Latest EV
The battery-powered four-wheeler has been given AeroGlide design language, featuring an uncommon road presence with an eye-catching style statement. It gets an LED headlight setup, paired with an illuminated MG’s logo at the front with a trending connecting LED bar. At the back, the company has used the same LED treatment, which makes it look quite premium in its segment.
Interior
Jumping inside the cabin, the customers get a luxurious yet spacious Aero Lounge. It also comes with impressive seats that can be reclined to 1350, coupled with the expansive Infinity View Glass Roof. These elements offer a business-class experience to the passengers on board.
For the entertainment purpose, it features a massive 15.6” GRANDVIEW touchscreen display, installed at the centre. It is supported by all the wireless car connect technology including Android, Apple and Auto Carplay.
Battery and Range
Under the hood, Windsor uses a robust 38-kWh battery setup, which provides a maximum range of 331 km on a single charge.
