According to Delhi Breakings, the extension of the corridor of the Aqua line is expected to span 17.43 kilometres and include 11 stations on it. The total estimated cost of the whole project is expected to be Rs 2,991.60 crore.
The project is expected to enhance the transportation network across Noida and Greater Noida, along with providing connectivity between these areas and Delhi. The interchange station at Sector 61 will play a crucial role in connecting the Aqua Line with DMRC’s Blue Line.
One of the key highlights of using this corridor is that it will play a vital role in the development of economic growth. The proposed extension of the Aqua line will boost real estate development, commercial activities, and overall economic prosperity in the region.
The new metro line will attract more residential projects to the area as well. Apart from that, as there will be more commuters opting for the metro, the new line is expected to reduce traffic congestion on the roads.
This will reduce travel time for people and lower pollution levels as well. With more people travelling in the metro, public transport will play a major role in creating a greener and more sustainable urban environment.
