The business tycoon and the chairman of Tata Group, the late Ratan Tata took his last breath at the age of 86 in Mumbai. The whole nation mourned together on the demise of veteran industrialists. He was the man behind who brought the idea of introducing an entry-level car named Nano, targeting middle-class families.
Recently, a very old video surfaced on the internet, where the top business mind from the country was seen delivering the first three Nanos to the customers. He was even seen handing over the car keys to their respective owners.

The clip was shared 15 years ago by a channel named Auto Scoops. In the clip, Mr Tata can be seen standing in front of the iconic model’s Nano, accompanied by some other officials as well.

As the clip moves forward, it shows him taking the keys from a lady, and handing them over to their respective customers. During the footage, the host is even heard saying that they are delivering the first 1,00,000 Nanos to the owners, who reserved the model in advance.
It was also announced that the company has received 3,06,703 orders in advance for the same, out of which only selected customers will receive the car initially.
Launch Year and Price
In case you are not aware, the Tata Nano was launched at the start of January back in 2008. It was then released with a price tag of Rs 100,000. Later, in 2020, the company had to discontinue the car due to poor sales numbers and strict emission laws in the country.
