Fighter Box Office Collection Day 3: Hrithik Roshan, Deepika Padukone's Film Stays Strong, Earns Rs 90 Crore

Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone starrer Fighter has been earning rave reviews from fans, critics, and the audience. The Siddharth Anand directorial has been getting an overwhelming response, even from the box office. The film, which opened at the box office with Rs 22.50 crore, saw a gradual jump in its collection compared to its release day sales. Reportedly, the film minted over 28 crores on Saturday.

As reported by the industry tracker Sacnilk, early estimates suggest that Fighter earned 28 crores on Day 3. The film, which also stars Anil Kapoor, earned Rs 39 crore on Friday, January 26. With this, the total collection of the action drama now stands at Rs 90 crores and is now inching closer to the Rs 100 crore mark.

While the morning shows of Fighter had an occupancy of 17.06 percent, it increased to over 33.52 percent during the evening shows.

Fighter is expected to bring in more audience over the extended weekend. The film has received good reviews. News18 gave the film a 4-star rating and said, “Phenomenally entertaining and consistently engaging, Fighter, for all the derivative genre components it compiles, is an action entertainer that crackles with energy.”

“Like the quintessential entertainer, Fighter serves up a little bit of everything in its narrative—action, drama, music, romance, and even emotions. The screenplay makes room for every commercial movie element. Fighter is a perfect popcorn entertainment thriller that plays to the gallery and lives up to the hype,” the review added.

Fighter has a run time of 2 hours and 46 minutes. The Central Board of Film Certification has also granted it a U/A certification for the film. Besides Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone, the film stars Anil Kapoor, Karan Singh Grover, Akshay Oberoi, Sanjeeda Shaikh, Talat Aziz, Pradum Shukla, and Pradum Jaykar in pivotal roles. The film marks Hrithik and Deepika’s third film with Siddharth Anand. Hrithik previously worked with the filmmaker on Bang Bang and War. Deepika had worked with him in Bachna Ae Haseeno and Pathaan.
