Shah Rukh Khan’s son, Aryan Khan, is gearing up for his directorial debut with a series titled Stardom. On Tuesday, Aryan was spotted filming on location in the streets of Mumbai. According to reports, Stardom recently kicked off production, with paparazzi sharing videos of Aryan on set. Aryan did notice the paparazzi camera but refrained from posing or reacting.
One clip captures Aryan directing a scene. However, to prevent any potential leaks of show details online, the production team used two large umbrellas to shield the sets. Aryan’s shoot was conducted under tight security measures. Stardom reportedly unfolds in the realm of cinema and is rumoured to include appearances by several real-life celebrities. Stardom will be a six-episode web show where each episode will witness a cameo by a Bollywood A-lister who will play themselves. It was revealed that on its first day of shoot, Shah Rukh visited the set of the show. Our source told News18 Showsha, “A major portion of Stardom was filmed in Dharma Productions which was frequented by Shah Rukh and Gauri Khan during the course of the shoot.”
Recently, Aryan Khan broke his silence on making his directorial debut. In a recent interview, he was asked how different it was to be director as against being a fashion creative and entrepreneur. Speaking with GQ India, Aryan said, “They’re both creatively stimulating in different ways. As the creative director of the brand, I shoot the ads, as well as oversee the photoshoots. I’m very involved creatively, but not as much when it comes to the logistics. On the other hand, as a director I have to look into every detail, every shot and every angle.”
Meanwhile, Aryan Khan had turned director last year for an ad for his fashion brand. The ad featured Shah Rukh in the lead.
