New Delhi: Two three-digit all-India helpline numbers for passengers have been announced by Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu in the 2015-16 Railway Budget.
For any travel related discomfort, medical emergency or catering complaint one can call on 138. Prabhu also announced that 182 will be the toll number for all security related calls.
Prabhu also thanked PM Narendra Modi for infusing all Indians with a sense of pride and dream of a prosperous nation. He promised to make railways a safe and secure means of travel.
