Vijay Sethupathi Starts Shooting For Train, Fans Can't Keep Calm
Director Mysskin revealed the poster for the upcoming film on his social media, featuring Vijay Sethupathi with a thick beard and moustache.

Renowned actor Vijay Sethupathi is set to star in an action thriller Train, directed by Mysskin. The first look has been unveiled, and it has gone on floors, generating excitement among the fans awaiting the actor-director collaboration. Recently, the new look of the Jawan actor was shared online and now, the makers have released the first-look poster for Train.

The director revealed the poster for the upcoming film on his social media, featuring Vijay Sethupathi with a thick beard and moustache. The poster shows railway tracks and approaching trains in the background, suggesting the dark plot elements of the period drama. Alongside, the director shared the highly anticipated first-look poster for the upcoming project with the hashtag #TheJourneyBegins.

Several social media users have commented on the poster. One user wrote, “All the best sir.” Another user added, “#Mysskin is Back.”A third user wrote, “Congratulations and best wishes for a fabulous movie.”

Hailed as an action thriller, the film’s narrative centres around a train journey, aligning with its title. The film’s shooting began following a pooja ceremony attended by filmmaker Vetrimaaran and actor, as well as Nadigar Sangam President, Nasser.

Besides Vijay Sethupathi, Train features Dimple Hayati in a significant role. The cast also includes Ira Dayanand, Nassar, Vinay Rai, Bhavana, Sampath Raj, Babloo Prithviraj, KS Ravikumar, Yugi Sethu, Ganesh Venkatraman, Kaniha, Diya Seetipalli, Singam Puli, Sriranjani, Ajay Rathnam, Thrigun Arun and Raichal Rabecca.

Fowzia Fathima will be the cinematographer of Train and Sri Watson will serve as the editor for Train. In addition to directing, Mysskin will also handle the music.

Director Mysskin and actor Vijay Sethupathi previously collaborated on Pisasu 2. Sethupathi’s recent role was as Kaalie Gaikwad in the Atlee-Shah Rukh Khan film Jawan. He is also set to appear in Sriram Raghavan’s thriller Merry Christmas, scheduled for release on January 12, 2024. Additionally, he is involved in the production stages of Viduthalai Part 2 and Maharaja.

On the other hand, Mysskin, recently seen in Vijay’s Leo, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, was last at the helm of the psycho-thriller Psycho in 2020.
