Step 2: On the home page, click on the Sepoys/Constables Recruitment 2024 link.

Step 3: A new webpage will appear. Click on the Registration for Odisha Sepoy/Constable in OSAP/IR Bn in Odisha Police option.

Step 4: Fill in all the required details for online registration and get the registration ID and password.

Step 5: Login by using your registration ID and password to complete the online application process.

Step 6: Submit and upload the relevant documents.

Step 7: Download the form and take a printout or screenshot of it for future reference.

Women, Transgenders and Persons with Benchmark Disability (PwBD) category candidates are not eligible to apply for these posts. According to the notification, a candidate can apply only under one battalion and the option cannot be changed later on.

Odisha Police Constable Recruitment 2024: Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must have passed their Class 10 (Matriculation) examination conducted by the Board of Secondary Education (BSE) Odisha or any other equivalent examination conducted by another board. The candidate must be at least 18 years old. The maximum age limit is 23 years old as of January 1, 2024. Relaxation in the upper age limit will apply to reserved category candidates.

Moreover, the candidate should be a citizen of India, of good character and of sound health. He should also not have any physical deformity and should be free from organic defects.

A candidate should not have more than one spouse living. He should also be able to speak, read and write in Odisha and should have passed the Matric examination with Odia as one of the subjects.

Odisha Police Constable Recruitment 2024: Selection process

The selection of the candidates will be done in four stages: Computer Based Recruitment Examination (CBRE) followed by a Measurement of Physical Standards and Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Driving test and a medical examination.

Odisha Police Constable Recruitment 2024: Exam Pattern

The duration of the Computer-Based Recruitment Examination is two hours. It will consist of 100 questions for 100 marks. The questions will be objective-type and will have multiple choices. There is a negative marking of 0.25 for every incorrect answer. No mark will be deducted for un-attempted questions.
