The Directorate of Educational Technical Education, Chennai began the registration process for the Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET) Counselling 2024 for admission to MBA and MCA courses. All the candidates who cleared the TANCET 2024 exam can apply for the counselling process through the official website at tn-mbamca.com. The last date for the registration is July 4.
The counselling process includes 5 stages- registration, document verification, choice filling, preparation of rank list and seat allocation. Online registration, form filling and certificate upload began on June 10, and the last date for application and certificate upload is July 7. The rank list will be published on July 22. Any grievances can be addressed during the redressal period from July 23 to July 26.
TANCET 2024 Counselling : Eligibility Criteria
To apply for the TANCET 2024 counselling, the candidates need to be residents of Tamil Nadu. They must hold a Bachelor’s degree in a 3-year programme with an aggregate of 50 per cent marks for General category candidates and 45 per cent marks for reserved category applicants. Also, the candidates must have a valid TANCET 2024 scorecard.
How to register for TANCET 2024 counselling?
Step 1: Visit the official website at tn-mbamca.com
Step 2: On the homepage, click on the Register Online Application tab.
Step 3: Fill in all the required information carefully.
Step 4: Enter the E-mail ID and Mobile number that was used while filing the TANCET application form.
Step 5: Enter the TANCET 2024 Admit card ID and the score achieved.
Step 6: Fill in all the details including Demand draft number, caste, religion, etc.
Step 7: After filling in all the details click on Submit.
Step 8: Download and take a printout of the form for future reference.
The counselling fee for the General category students is Rs 600. The candidates belonging to SC/ST/SCA categories need to pay a fee of Rs 300.

Anna University will publish the TANCET MBA rank list on July 22 which will include the rank, scores, college code and the branch allotted. This year, the TANCET exam was conducted on March 9 for admission to various MBA and MCA courses offered by the colleges in Tamil Nadu.
