New Delhi: Argentina moved into the quarter-finals of the Copa America by beating Colombia 4-2 on Monday.
Colombia were first to get on the board with a 10th minute Edixon Perea goal.
But the in-form Hernan Crespo levelled soon after from the penalty spot, only to limp off, as his further participation in the tournament seems uncertain.
Midfielder Juan Roman Riquelme followed up with two quick goals before half-time and Diego Milito sealed the win with a deflected goal in extra time.
Argentina are now through to the last eight stage behind group C winners Paraguay.
In another fixture on Monday, Paraguay beat the United States 3-1 to qualify for the last eight stage of the Copa America.
Edgar Barreto opened the scoring at the half-hour mark only to have Ricardo Clark level for the US 10 minutes later.
Paraguay bouned back into the lead in the second half with an Oscar Cardozo goal and Salvador Cabanas finished it off with a free-kick in the injury time.
