Deco played in the opener against Ivory Coast but then missed Portugal's matches against North Korea and Brazil.
Cape Town: Portugal coach Carlos Queiroz has hinted that Deco will be available for his team's World Cup second-round match against Spain on Tuesday.
Queiroz said on Monday "we have 11 first-class players at our disposal" before mentioning midfielders Deco and Sabrosa Simao specifically.
"Two players should be available," Queiroz said.
Deco played in the Group G opener against Ivory Coast but then missed Portugal's matches against North Korea and Brazil because of a right hip injury.
Benfica midfielder Ruben Amorim should be available after missing North Korea and Brazil because of injury.
Forward Danny limped heavily during Monday's training session, while Deco trained with most of the group.
