Milan: Samuel Eto'o looks to be one step closer to the Inter exit doors as the Cameroon international will undergo his Anzhi Makhachkala medical in Rome on Thursday, Italian press agency ANSA reports.
The striker was initially expected to undergo his physical tests with Anzhi on Monday, but he will now travel to Rome later this week after his medical was rescheduled.
Eto'o didn't take part in Inter's training session on Monday and left the club's grounds before their annual open day kicked off.
Inter are ready to sell the 30-year-old striker and have allegedly agreed to a transfer of 35 million euros for Eto'o. The striker is expected to sign a four-year deal worth 80 million euros with Anzhi Makhachkala.
Eto'o joined Inter from Barcelona in the summer of 2009 and helped the Giuseppe Meazza club to a historic treble in his first season at the club.
