Palian Arrows are still searching for their first win in 11 league games.
Pune: Two second-half goals helped Air India beat Palian Arrows 2-0 for their third consecutive win in the 11th-round I-League clash at the Balewadi Sports Complex in Pune on Friday.
After a goalless first half, Sandesh Gadkari made it 1-0 in favour of Air India in the 65th minute. Henry Ezeh then doubled the lead for the hosts in the 73rd minute.
Air India had defeated table toppers Dempo and Sporting Clube de Goa in their two previous games in Goa.
Following the win, Air India have 19 points from 11 matches, while the visitors, who are still searching for their first win, have just six points from as many matches.
