Jude Bellingham Reveals What Inspired ‘Wolf’ Celebration After Scoring During Serbia Vs England Clash | WATCH
Bellingham netted England's winner against Serbia and celebrated with three fingers over his face. The Real Madrid star revealed that the celebration was from a game the unit plays with the backroom staff called ‘Wolf’ and that one of the staff always holds his face like that when he doesn’t know what’s going on.

England star Jude Bellingham has explained his ‘wolf’ celebration that he pulled off against Serbia at the Euros. England played their Euro 2024 opener against Serbia in which the Real Madrid forward proved decisive at the Veltins-Arena, scoring the only goal of the game to secure a win for the Three Lions.

Bellingham celebrated the goal with Trent Alexander Arnold by putting three fingers over his face. After the game, the 20-year-old was asked about the meaning behind his celebration. Bellingham replied, “The celebration was from a game we play called ‘Wolf’ and one of the staff always holds his face like that when he doesn’t know what’s going on.” Sky Sports Football have now shared a clip of the response on X.

Bellingham’s answer shows how much the England squad cares about the staff members involved with the team behind the scenes. Speaking further at the conference, the young star said, “It was more of a celebration for the backroom staff who put in so much work every day and won’t receive any awards like this…or get to have the moments we get to have on the pitch but we value them so much”.

Speaking about the game, Bellingham also talked about what it felt like scoring for his national side. “It is obviously really special to score anytime for England and especially a match-winning goal and a goal that gives us points and can contribute in hopefully having a good tournament.”

England have now started their campaign for European glory on a winning note thanks to Bellingham’s sublime finish in yesterday’s game. The Real Madrid forward was just present at the right place at the right time. The attack began in the 13th minute with the English side’s right-back Kyle Walker sending a through ball to Bukayo Saka on the right flank. The Arsenal star then sent the ball flying for a cross over the penalty box and towards Bellingham. The young forward went unnoticed by the Serbian defenders. He quickly pounced on the cross and landed a powerful header that went straight into the nets.

England will now have a bigger challenge ahead of them as they take on Denmark at the Deutsche Bank Park on June 20. They will play their final Group C fixture against Slovenia on June 26. That match will be hosted at the RheinEnergieStadion. The Gareth Southgate-coached will be looking to seal an early playoff spot in the tournament.
