Rome: Juventus general manager Giuseppe Marotta has praised Sergio Aguero and Giuseppe Rossi, insisting that both players would be ideal for the club.
Goal.com exclusively revealed earlier this month that the Turin giants have a transfer kitty of 50 million Euros (44m pounds) available this summer, and both forwards are said to have been on the club's radar for a number of months, though the Atletico Madrid man is seen as the preferred option.
Now, Speaking to Sky Sport Italia, the transfer guru has admitted that they would both be perfect acquisitions for the Serie A side.
He said: "Both are talented and capable of making the difference. They do match up with the profile of the kind of player we are looking for."
Juve brought in Marotta along with coach Luigi Del Neri last summer in a bid to resurrect the club's fortunes and return amongst the elite, and again forked out a significant outlay on new player additions, but to no avail as it cost Del Neri his job as coach.
Although there has been positive activity this summer with the appointment of Antonio Conte and the signings of Andrea Pirlo, Reto Ziegler and Michele Pazienza so far, there is still a considerable amount of deadwood in the ranks.
Marotta has come under a barrage of criticism for making a string of poor signings during his tenure in Turin, but he has insisted that the club will pounce for a top-class centre forward, and has compared the calibre of striker he is looking for with new signing Andrea Pirlo.
He said: "We will sign a quality player in attack, a top striker. We already have a world class addition to our midfield with Andrea Pirlo.
"He brings great quality as well as being an exemplary professional."
He also informed the broadcaster that they have no interest in Manchester United's Ji-Sung Park, after reports emerged that the club were interested in tabling an offer for the Korean midfielder, and also denied reports of Amauri possibly returning to Palermo.
