Wales: Luis Suarez scored a hat-trick as Liverpool twice came from behind to beat Cardiff City 6-3 in the English Premier League on Saturday.

The host took a deserved lead in the ninth minute when Jordon Mutch curled a left-footed strike into the corner.

Suarez equalised in the 16th, slotting home from close range after Glen Johnson's right-wing cross.

Cardiff led again through Frazier Campbell when he netted in the 25th.

Liverpool came back when Martin Skrtel poked home in the 41st and put the Merseysiders ahead for the first time in the 54th.

Suarez grabbed his second on the hour mark before Daniel Sturridge added the fifth in the 75th. Mutch headed in in the 88th, and Suarez completed the rout in stoppage time.

Everton kept up the pace in a race for a European berth following a 3-2 home win over Swansea.

Leighton Baines gave the Toffees the lead in the 20th minute from the penalty spot after Chico Flores was alleged to have felled Ross Barkley. The visitors equalized in the 33rd when striker Wilfried Bony tapped home from close range.

Romelu Lukaku restored Everton's lead in the 53rd, after a neat one-two with Kevin Mirallas saw the latter cross for the striker to convert.

Midfielder Ross Barkley headed home the third after Lukaku flicked a corner into his path. Defender Ashley Williams scored a late consolation in the last minute.
