Malaga: Malaga rallied to beat short-handed Almeria 3-1 on Monday and move off the bottom of the Spanish league table.
Sofiane Feghouli finished off Antonio Luna's centering pass with his left foot to put Almeria ahead after eight minutes. Enzo Maresca then controlled the ball inside the area to score a 52nd-minute equalizer before Jose Ulloa picked up a second yellow card for elbowing Eliseu in the 76th.
Two minutes later, Jose Rondon scored the winner with a header from Antonio "Apono" Galdeano's pass.
Almeria was left with nine men after Luna was shown a red card in the 88th and Juanmi Jimenez added the insurance with a goal in the third minute of injury time.
Malaga ended a seven-game winless run to move two points above Almeria, which is now last.
Barcelona's 3-0 win at Mallorca on Saturday moved it seven points clear of Real Madrid after its closest rival drew 0-0 at Deportivo La Coruna.
Valencia moved four points clear of Villarreal in third — 10 back of Madrid — after rallying to beat Athletic Bilbao 2-1. Villarreal also rallied to draw 2-2 at Racing Santander.
In the other 25th-round games, it was: Espanyol 4, Real Sociedad 1; Atletico Madrid 2, Sevilla 2; Sporting Gijon 0, Zaragoza 0; Hercules 0, Getafe 0; and Levante 2, Osasuna 1.
