Real Madrid Takes Stand On French Youngster Leny Yoro’s Valuation
Los Blancos are ready to pay an amount of €20 million fixed fees to Lille in order to acquire the services of Yoro.

LOSC Lille youngster Leny Yoro has gained huge interest from several European clubs during the summer transfer window. Real Madrid, reportedly, remain well-positioned to complete the signing of the talented teenager. But Real Madrid are not the solitary club willing to rope in the 18-year-old. European giants like Paris Saint-Germain (PSG), Manchester United and Liverpool are also understood to be in contention to sign the Frenchman. According to Mundo Deportivo, as claimed by Transfer News Live on X (formerly Twitter), Los Blancos are ready to pay an amount of €20 million fixed fees to Lille in order to acquire the services of Yoro.

Transfer market specialist Fabrizio Romano recently posted on X, “Leny Yoro keeps giving priority to Real Madrid, now waiting on clubs to agree on deal. Real Madrid also informed that he will not sign new deal at Lille, no chance — the strategy is clear. PSG and Liverpool, waiting only in case deal collapses.”

Football Espana recently claimed that in order to arrange funds to complete the signing of Yoro, Real Madrid are planning to let go of Spanish centre-back Rafa Marin. The article went on to claim that the 22-year-old is set to complete his switch to Italian football club Napoli. Marin recently had a fruitful loan spell at Alaves. The move to send Marin to Napoli will help Real Madrid in obtaining a fee of €12 million, along with add-ons potentially increasing it up to €22 million, as per Football Espana.

Yoro, the highly skilful youngster, featured in 44 matches for LOSC Lille during the 2023-24 season. He also succeeded in finding the back of the net thrice last season. Yoro’s current contract with the French football club is set to expire next year.

Following the departure of Nacho Fernandez, Real Madrid have been determined to sign a centre-back during the summer transfer window. Real Madrid, who won the Champions League and LaLiga last season, will be aiming to bolster their squad ahead of the next season.

Meanwhile, Real Madrid head coach Carlo Ancelotti agreed a contract extension to remain in his position until June 2026. The announcement was made in December last year. The Italian head coach had returned to Real Madrid for his second spell in charge in 2021.
