Using Chat and Email
Navigate to https://www.groupon.com/faq. You can't go to the contact page directly, so you must start by searching the FAQ page to access the options. Sign in to your account so the customer service agents have access to your information and order history.
Type "contact Groupon" in the search bar and press ↵ Enter (Windows) or ⏎ Return (Mac). You'll see the Groupon help center search bar towards the middle of the page with the text "Search help topics, keywords, or phrases." Don't use the search bar that's at the top of the page.
Click on the first heading and Contact Us. When you click on the article heading, “How to Contact Groupon Customer Support," Contact Us will drop-down next to "Still Need Help?"
Click Live Chat for the fastest response (if it's available). If your issue is pressing, doing a Live Chat is your best bet. Click the Live Chat link then complete the form. It asks for your name, email address, language, issue, and country code. However, most of this is pre-populated so you only need to describe your problem. Then, click Start Chat to be connected to an agent. The link will not be clickable if an agent is not available. You will either need to continue to send an email or you can wait for an agent to become available.
Click Send Us an Email. You'll see the estimated response time displayed on the link. Type your question or issue into the box that pops up and try to be as detailed as possible so the agent can help resolve your issue quickly. Attach any screenshots, images, or documents by dragging the file to the "Add Attachment" box above the message box. When you're done, click Send.
Using Twitter
Go to Groupon’s customer support Twitter account. Groupon has 2 official accounts. To get help with any issues you’re having, use @GrouponHelpUS (https://twitter.com/GrouponHelpUS) rather than @Groupon. The customer support account is for users in the United States and Canada.
Send a direct message to the support staff. Once you’re on the Groupon customer support page, click the message icon, which looks like an envelope. Type your message and include any pertinent details, like your name, the email address you use on Groupon, the issue you’re having, and order number (if applicable). Provide as much information as possible and send your message when you’re finished. As an alternative, you could Tweet a message and tag @GrouponHelpUS. However, since you’ll probably need to provide some identifying information to get help with your problem, a direct message is the best option.
Wait for a reply. Groupon doesn’t provide a timeframe for replying to Twitter responses, so you may have more luck with the Live Chat, Email, or Callback features if you want a response quickly. However, they do note that help is available 7 days a week from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM CST on Twitter.
Using Self-Service Options
Go to the customer support page. Sign in to your account if you're not automatically signed in.
Select your order. After logging into your account, select the specific order you need help with and then click Choose.
Review the available options. Any self-service options available for this specific order will appear, including the options to edit an order, cancel for a refund, trade-in an order for Groupon credit, or return a Goods item. Just click on the option you want. If certain options aren't showing up, like "Cancel Order," it may be because the order isn't eligible. Contact Groupon using the live chat or email features to get more information from an agent.
Finding Answers on the FAQ Page
Go to https://www.groupon.com/faq. The Frequently Asked Questions page hosts users' most commonly requested topics, so you can use this section of the site to find answers to many questions you might have. The FAQs are divided up into the following categories: Managing Your Account, Using a Groupon, Returns, Shipping and Tracking, Purchasing a Groupon, and Editing or Cancelling an Order.
Click the "Search help topics, keywords, or phrases" bar. Fortunately, there's no need to browse through every FAQ help topic. You can search for your issue using the search bar in the middle of the page.
Type in your question then click the magnifying glass. For example, if you're having an issue closing your account, you might type "How do I close my Groupon account?" Then, click the magnifying glass button to the left of the search bar or press enter to submit your question.
Review the search results. These appear below the search bar. Keep in mind that you may not see a direct copy of your own question. If you don't see a perfectly matching result, try to look for similar concerns from other users.
Click the title of a question that matches yours. While you may not see your specific question listed here, you'll likely see one that comes close. Look for similar keywords in other questions to help you find the answers you need.
