How to Invite Someone to a Slack Channel on Android

Open Slack on your Android. It’s a black “S” on a pink, yellow, blue, and green background. You’ll usually find it on the home screen or in the app drawer.

Tap the channel you want to join. If you don’t see a list of channels, tap your profile image or first initial at the top-left corner of the screen first.

Tap Android 7 Expand More. It’s near the top-right corner of the screen beneath the ⁝ symbol.

Tap Add someone. It’s under the “Actions” header.

Tap the person you want to add. You’ll only be able to select people who are already a part of your team’s workspace. The person’s name now appears at the top of the “Add someone” screen.

Tap Done. It’s at the top-right corner of the screen. The selected team member is now invited to the channel.
