Lal Salaam, set against the backdrop of an intense cricket match, is slated for release on February 9, 2024. This marks Aishwarya Rajinikanth’s return to the director’s chair after seven years, following her last project, the Tamil action-thriller Vai Raja Vai, starring Dhanush and Taapsee Pannu in cameo roles. Lyca Productions is producing the film, and distribution in Tamil Nadu will be handled by Udhayanidhi Stalin’s Red Giant Movies. Renowned composer AR Rahman is in charge of the musical department.
