Varun Tej And Lavanya Tripathi Set To Host Second Reception In Dehradun

Varun Tej and Lavanya Tripathi had a fairy tale wedding in Tuscany, Italy on November 1 which was attended by close family and friends. On November 5, the newlyweds hosted a reception at the N Convention Center in Hyderabad which was a star-studded affair with notable personalities from the Telugu film industry and beyond. The couple was spotted at Hyderabad airport on Wednesday as they jetted off to Dehradun, Uttarakhand for their second reception.

The couple will be hosting the reception in the city as Lavanya spent her formative years there and the event is for her family and close friends there. For the airport fit, Lavanya donned a dark green co-ord dress and black heels that she styled with a pair of white shades. Varun Tej was seen in a stylish black T-shirt, black cargo pants and red and white sneakers and completed the look with black sunglasses. He was also seen carrying a luggage bag. The duo was accompanied by Niharika Konidela and their mother Padmaja Konidela.

The couple, last night enjoyed the India vs New Zealand semi-final match with their family. Varun Tej shared a photo on Instagram Stories of him watching the match in the hotel’s huge lawn area where a huge screen is set up with Virat Kohli’s record-breaking century moment in World Cup 2023 with a view of mountains in behind. He embedded the text hashtag, “King Kohli!”

Lavanya also shared a picture on her Instagram Stories of her mother and the match being screened behind. “Match with a view!” she wrote in the caption of the story.

Varun Tej was last seen in Praveen Sattaru’s action thriller film, Gandheevadhari Arjuna. The film also featured Sakshi Vaidya, Nassar, Narain and Manish Chaudhari in crucial roles. It received majorly positive reviews from critics. The actor will be next seen in Operation Valentine opposite Manushi Chillar which will be a bi-lingual film in Hindi and Telugu. It will also mark his Hindi debut. The Shakti Pratap Singh’s directorial is said to be set against the backdrop of the Indian Air Force and is rescheduled to hit the silver screen on December 8.

Lavanya Tripathi was last seen in the web series, Puli Meka where she essayed the role of a cop.
