ALAPPUZHA: Fourteen H1N1 cases were reported in Alappuzha on Tuesday.
According to District Medical Officer (DMO) K M Sirabudeen, of the 14 cases, four are children below two and one is a pregnant woman. A total of 25 cases of H1N1 flu have been reported in the district so far this year. The flu cases were reported from Harippad, Kuttanad, Purackadu, Kainakary, Vandanam, Thakazhi, Kalarcode, Karuvatta and Pulinkunnu areas on Tuesday.

The DMO told Express that all of them were out of danger and were staying in their own homes. "We have sufficient medicine and other facilities in all primary health centres in the district,' he said.
