216-kg laddu offered to Kanaka Durga

VIJAYAWADA: Balaji Sweets in cooperation with with Majety Kaju House, One town, presented a 216-kg laddu to the Goddess Kanaka Durga here on Sunday.The laddu was kept for display at the temple premises.According to K Srinivas, proprietor of Balaji Sweets, the laddu was prepared with 60 kg of flour, 60kg of sugar, 50kg ghee, 30kg cashew nuts, 15kg dry grapes and 1kg of cardamom.Five workers took three days to prepare the laddu.Balaji Sweets has been presenting laddus to Durga during Navaratri since the past three years.
