3 of family injured in LPG cylinder explosion

BANGALORE: Three persons of a family were injured after an LPG cylinder exploded in Rajagopalanagar police station limits on Sunday night. The injured have been identified as Anand (46), Chaitra (40),  Pavitra (16), residents of Parvathinagar in Laggere.The couple Anand and Chaitra’s daughter Pavitra, a mentally disabled girl stayed with her parents, while her other two siblings were away at their granparents’ house when the incident occured. According to the police, Pavitra had turned on the gas stove in the middle of the night and went back to sleep. The explosion took place after the gas sparked with the mosquito coil. All are now shifted to Victoria Hospital.
