BANGALORE: The police have arrested six journalists and later released them on bail in connection with the violence reported at City Civil Court Complex on March 2. All the journalists belonged to regional news channels.Vijayanagar police arrested two journalists, while the other four were arrested by the Ulsoor Gate police. One of them is a cameraman arrested on charges of misbehaviour. The others were arrested for assaulting and airing false news with an intention to provoke riot. They were arrested based on the complaint filed by some advocates.Daylight robberyIn a broad daylight robbery, two unidentified bike-borne miscreants robbed a man of `2.6 lakh cash which he was carrying to deposit to a bank in Indiranagar. The incident was reported at CMH Road 7th cross on Wednesday morning. Anbu Arasan, a manager with Airtel, is the victim, the police said.
