Elating on joining the party, she said that BJP stands for good governance and development.
New Delhi: Keeping the political buzz alive, the Bharatiya Janata Party on Friday took another former Aam Aadmi Party leader Shazia Ilmi under its wings.
Elating on joining the party, "there is a new political discourse in the country and we all must be a part of it. I felt this is the right party and I din't think twice when I got an offer," Ilmi said.
Recalling her past with the AAP, she said, "There have been many reasons why we AAP and I parted ways," while adding that BJP stands for good governance and development.
She refrained from disclosing any seat that she wants to contest on and said that she only wants to serve the country. "I'm not here to win the elections," she said.
