HYDERABAD: Transport Minister Botcha Satyanarayana is a man in a hurry. Within 24 hours of taking charge as PCC chief, he initiated a dialogue with the party’s executive committee members at the Gandhi Bhavan here on Sunday -- a holiday.High on his agenda are die-hard loyalists of YSR Congress chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. Sources told Express the new PCC boss wants to take the disqualification proceedings pending against four party legislators -- Konda Surekha (Parkal), A Amarnath Reddy (Rajampet), C Adinarayana Reddy (Jammalamadugu) and G Srikanth Reddy (Rayachoti) -- to its logical conclusion.Though Botcha was tight-lipped on the what exactly he planned to do, he is understood to be making moves to pack the four out of the Assembly at the earliest to get a pat from the Congress high command. “Their disqualification petition is before the Speaker. All that I can say at the moment is that action against them is inevitable,” he said. This apart, the North Coastal Congress leader also wants to have a PCC of his own, a team committed to the party and himself.  Since he heads the PCC, he would want to have a larger say and is unlikely to accommodate or entertain others’ requests, sources said, adding that if he went out of his at this juncture, he would face difficulties in the future. This implies that he would be weeding out incorrigible Jagan loyalists from the PCC and DCCs and take steps to win back those who seem to be repenting for joining the Jagan camp. “My interest is to get those prodigal sons back home. I have already initiated a dialogue with some leaders who have gone astray,” the PCC chief reportedly commented. At the same time, he is taking precautions in reorganising the party by not keeping existing PCC members at bay who had close association with the late YSR and former PCC chief D Srinivas.
