Arundhati, Thulasi, Tanvi fail to qualify at Swiss Open

Basel: Indian women shuttlers Arundhati Pantawane, P.C. Thulasi and Tanvi Lad failed to qualify for the main draw of the Swiss Open Grand Prix Gold at the St. Jakobshalle here on Tuesday.

While Arundhati reached the second and final round of the women's singles qualifiers, Thulasi and Tanvi went down in the first round itself of the tier three $125,000 tournament.

Men's doubles specialists Manu Attri and B. Sumeeth Reddy also failed to make the main draw after reaching the second round of qualification.
