Day 8 Round-up: Discus thrower Vikas Gowda broke a 56-year jinx, to toast with gold alongside wrestlers Yogeshwar Dutt and Babita Kumari as India snaked up to the fifth spot in the medal race at the Commonwealth Games.
The grapplers cornered all the medals that came India's way. Satywart Kadian, Sakshi Malik, Bajrang and Lalita won the second most precious medal, while Navjot Kaur garnered the bronze at the SECC Hall.
