Bhopal: Autopsy reports of the SIMI terror suspects killed in Bhopal encounter accessed by CNN-News18 on Wednesday revealed multiple entry and exit wounds on the bodies of the deceased and also that majority of the wounds were on the torso.
The clothes of the slain SIMI suspects killed in the encounter have been sent for forensic test.
Several questions were raised by the opposition parties on Tuesday against the police alleging that standard procedures were not followed in apprehending the terror suspects.

Standard operating procedures in encounter cases usually require police to shoot to disable and not kill.
According to the Supreme Court directives on Encounters, every tip-off must be put in writing without disclosing vital information and if encounter results in death, police must immediately register FIR and the FIR copy must be furnished to the court.
Independent investigation should be done by CID or other police officers and the encounter probes should be well-documented, open to a magisterial inquiry, directs Supreme Court.
Supreme Court further directs that there should be no out-of-turn promotion or gallantry awards to encounter cops and disciplinary action should be taken against the officer if found guilty.
The reports come out a day after Congress questioned the legality and authenticity of the encounter by Madhya Pradesh Police.
Accusing the MP government of using police for fulfilling the RSS agenda, BSP supremo Mayawati too on Tuesday demanded a judicial probe into the encounter of eight prisoners associated with banned organisation SIMI. She also said that police was misused for political and communal motives in BJP-ruled states.

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan slammed the opposition parties for questioning the authenticity of Bhopal encounter.
Hitting out at the opposition parties, the chief minister said on Tuesday, "Politicians are highlighting the encounter for vote bank politics while they can’t speak a word on the martyrdom of the slain constable."
