London: David Beckham believes support from the fans will play a major role in how England fare at the 2006 World Cup.
And the England skipper says he's comfortable with the high expectations placed on his side going into the finals in Germany this summer.
Beckham told The Sun newspaper on Thursday: "Their (the fans) enthusiasm and their passion mean that they can be as good as an extra player to us out there. That is how important the supporters are."
"To win the World Cup you need all the help you can get and you can never under-estimate the role they play."
The Real Madrid star added: "I never complain about expectations being too high. Our fans follow us all over the world and demand we produce. They want results and that's fine."
