Wagah: The war is not over yet but the injured and the walking wounded are back.

A day after experiencing the joy of seeing the Indian cricket team take a 2-1 lead in the ODI series off spinner Harbhajan Singh crossed the Wagah border to return home.

Harbhajan crossed over from Pakistan at the Wagah border on foot and was also seen capturing the moment for his personal album.

Harbhajan had been ruled out of the series with a finger injury and he will now be hoping to get fit in time for the England series.

He had a torrid time in the tests, failing to pick up even a single wicket in the two Test matches that he played.

The Indian team management decided to send the bowler back for rest and rehabilitation so that he could be fit in time for the home series against England beginning on March 1.

Opener Virender Sehwag, who injured his shoulder during the second ODI against Pakistan in Rawalpindi, also returned home on Monday.

Harbhajan had missed India's entire tour of Pakistan in 2004, also due to injury.
