Overwhelmed by the success of BJP in the recent Assembly elections in Rajasthan, its Minority Morcha (MM) has decided to undertake a "Mission 25" to win all 25 seats in the state in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
"Minority Morcha will appoint its in-charges in all districts and 'mandals' in Rajasthan, and will hold state level convention in Jaipur in February by inviting over 1 lakh participants," its state president Ameen Pathan told a press conference in Jaipur on Sunday.
"In the last Lok Sabha polls the party had four MPs from Rajasthan and this year MM will enable BJP to sweep all 25 seats," he said.
Rejecting claims of Kejriwal's Aam Admi Party's influence in Rajasthan, he said AAP was good and restricted at Delhi only, and the party was not afraid of it. He alleged it was the Congress which exploited Muslims as a vote bank, and always scared "us in the name of Jan Sangh, RSS, and now Narendra Modi".
On a question whether MM will seek any ticket in the upcoming LS polls, he said, "No. It would be up to the party to decide on candidates' selection."
