A 24-year-old man who was allegedly buried alive by four men over a land dispute was dug up by stray dogs in Uttar Pradesh’s Agra.
The victim, identified as Roop Kishor was assaulted by four men, identified as Ankit, Gaurav, Karan, and Akash, on July 18 in Agra’s Artoni area. The attackers also strangled him and then buried him on their farm, assuming he had died.
However, Kishor survived and regained consciousness after the stray dogs dug up the area where he was buried and began biting his exposed flesh. As per media reports, the man managed to walk to a nearby area where locals helped him and took him to the hospital for treatment.
Kishor’s mother claimed that the accused men had forcibly taken her son from their home, brutally assaulted and strangled him, and then buried him in a ditch on their farm.
An FIR has been filed against the four men, and a police investigation against the accused are currently underway.
