The Congress and the JD(S)-BJP government in Karnataka are at loggerheads once more.

New Delhi: The Congress and the JD(S)-BJP government in Karnataka are at loggerheads once more. This time, the Opposition Congress has gone and accused the JD(S)-BJP combine on all fronts possible.

Congress leaders led a procession to Raj Bhavan as part of their week-long campaign against the coalition ministry and submitted a 15-point "chargesheet" against the government to Governor T N Chaturvedi, reported news agency PTI.

KPCC President Mallikarjun Kharge was quoted by PTI as sying that the Governor had been told about the "failure of the government on all fronts", including tackling the drought situation.

The chargesheet also included the "failure" to tackle unemployment, non-distribution of ration cards and deferring of elections to urban and local bodies.

Congress leaders have gone ahead and demanded President's rule in the state.

Later, addressing the party workers, Kharge claimed that there would be mid-term elections in the state in December or January and asked the JD(S)-BJP combination government to be well prepared for the same.
