KOZHIKODE: Kozhikode District Congress Committee (DCC) office witnessed ugly scenes on Friday as the Congress members clashed with one another. The clash broke out after Minister K Babu was given a reception at the office by the DCC.The incident allegedly took place after former Youth Congress State President T Siddique and other Congress party members asked A Mohanlal, a Congress activist, for the money he had been loaned.According to Siddique, Mohanlal got angry when asked for the money and abused Congress leaders, which later led to a clash among the workers.While Mohanlal claims that the attack on him was planned by T Siddique and others, for his stern opinions regarding the party reshuffle that is going to happen in the coming days. Mohanlal was admitted to the Government Beach Hospital with minor injuries.No complaint has been registered with the police regarding the issue.
