CPM demands pay for TTD contract staff

HYDERABAD: CPI-M state secretary BV Raghavulu urged the state government to take initiative to solve the long-pending issues in the TTD (Tirumala Tirupathi Devasthanams).In a press statement, Raghavulu asked the TTD to implement the pay structure for all contract employees working with the TTD under GO 3issued by the state government last January. While the the transport department contract employees in the TTD were drawing the salaries under GO number 3, other contract workers working with various other TTD departments were deprived of the same.The CPM leader sent a memorandum to chief minister N Kirankumar Reddy here on Friday asking him to solve the long-pending issues at the temple town.
