Thiruvananthapuram: A week after over 500 children from eastern states were taken to Kerala illegally, the crime branch team of the state police has now decided to investigate the matter.

Last week around 589 children from the states of Jharkhand, Bihar and West Bengal were illegally brought to Kerala to be taken to various orphanages without the required documents. They were rescued by the Railway Protection Force at Palakkad Railway Station.
