New Delhi: A toll collector and guard were killed after four unidentified men opened fire at a toll plaza in Badarpur in the national capital.
Sources told CNN-IBN that the assailants robbed Rs 2.5 crore from the toll booth. It also appears that the assailant duo took with them a laptop bag. A team has been constituted to track them down, police said.
The sources say two of the suspects lived near the toll plaza and the remaining two were studying in a coaching centre.
During the firing, the locals raised an alarm and the police were informed. Senior officials of the district also visited the spot, they said.
A case of murder has been registered and investigation is underway, police added.
