New Delhi: Introducing a new series of tablets, Dell has launched two new Android tablets - Venue 7 and Venue 8. Both tablets are powered by Intel Atom Z2760 (Clover Trail) processors.
The tablets run Android 4.2.2 (upgradeable to KitKat) and will come in both WiFi-only and 4G variants. As their names suggest, the Venue 7 has a 7-inch screen, while the Venue 8 has an 8-inch screen. Each has a 1,280 x 800 IPS display.
Reportedly, the Venue 7 will come in only 16GB model, while the Venue 8 will be offered in 16GB and 32GB models.
The Venue 7 and Venue 8 will be available on www.dell.com in the United States and select countries around the world.
The Dell Venue 7 and Venue 8 are priced at $150 and $180, respectively.
Besides these Android tablets, the company has also announced the launch of Windows 8.1-based Dell Venue 8 Pro and Dell Venue 11 tablets.
