CHENNAI: C Natesan, was recently awarded the Life Time Achievement Award by the Dr MGR Medical University. He was presented the award by His Excellency, the Governor of Tamil Nadu. Natesan hails from a village called Gandhipuram in Namakkal district. He completed his MBBS degree from the Stanley Medical College in Chennai and MD from the Madras Medical College.He has worked in a PHC near Bodi, Theni district and served the rural people of that area for seven years. He then resigned and started a 50-bed hospital in T Nagar. He then went on to construct the Bharathirajaa Hospital & Research Centre Pvt Ltd at #20 , GN Chetty Road, T Nagar, Chennai to serve people coming from all walks of society.As the Vice-Chairman of the medical wing of the Tamil Nadu Congress Party, he conducted several free medical and blood donation camps in different districts of Tamil Nadu. Now, he is one of the trustees of the Rajiv Sadbhavana Jyothi Yatra.
